To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the iconic Final Fantasy video game series, NPARALLEL + Atomic Props partnered with Liquid Advertising to create a massive, interactive fan experience at one of the world’s most visible entertainment destinations—the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

With just over three weeks from purchase order to installation, our team fabricated an 18-foot wide, 20-foot long, and 16-foot tall Titan replica, transforming the space into an unforgettable blend of physical craftsmanship and cutting-edge augmented reality technology.

Business Challenge

Liquid Advertising contacted NPARALLEL + Atomic Props with an ambitious request: create a monumental 16-foot custom replica of the Titan character from Final Fantasy for a high-profile anniversary activation.

The constraints were significant—just over three weeks to design, fabricate, and install a museum-quality piece in one of the most scrutinized public spaces in entertainment.

The installation needed to withstand both Los Angeles weather and thousands of fan interactions while maintaining the intricate detail that Final Fantasy fans expect.

Our Solution

Advanced Digital-to-Physical Workflow

Working from CGI files provided by Final Fantasy’s owners, our design team utilized Rhino software to convert digital assets into manufacturable components.

Using our state-of-the-art CNC router capable of cutting in all three dimensions simultaneously, we transformed the digital Titan into 12 separate physical pieces plus numerous ground elements—essentially creating a massive, real-world jigsaw puzzle.

Museum-Quality Finishing

Three specialized painters spent an entire week bringing the Titan to life, layering intricate details that transformed the sculptural form into a character that seemed to leap from the screen.

This attention to finishing detail is what elevates props from impressive to spectacular—creating that “wow factor” essential for public installations.

Precision Fabrication Process

Each piece required meticulous engineering to incorporate internal steel reinforcement while maintaining the character’s authentic proportions.

Our craftspeople hand-assembled the components, sanded seams to invisibility, and sealed the polyurethane foam to create a paintable surface.

The final hard coat spray plastic application provided both durability and the perfect foundation for detailed finishing.

Integrated AR Experience

Fans stepped into the Titan’s enormous hand, where specialized AR cameras captured their moment and instantly generated personalized videos.

Each participant received a shareable clip featuring Noctis, another Final Fantasy character, heroically rescuing them from the Titan’s grasp—creating the perfect blend of physical interaction and digital storytelling.
