Banner engineering mobile Showroom

Brand Activation

Executive Summary

Banner Engineering is known for pushing boundaries with automation solutions, sensors, and cutting-edge technologies. To bring these innovations closer to customers, they wanted a flexible way to showcase products outside of traditional trade shows. The answer was mobility: taking the Banner brand directly to clients, wherever they were.

In collaboration with NPARALLEL + Atomic Props, Banner first explored this concept in 2023 with a branded van designed to display product categories on interchangeable boards. While effective, the van came with limitations, especially in client comfort and environmental control. Building on those learnings, Banner returned in 2024 with an elevated vision—transforming a motorhome RV into a mobile showroom that doubled as both an interactive display environment and a comfortable meeting space.

The result was a branded, high-end, climate-controlled showroom on wheels that continues to drive engagement, create client connections, and bring Banner’s solutions directly to their audience.

Banner Engineering Interior

Business Challenge

Banner’s first foray into mobile engagement started in 2023 with a custom van. The build featured vinyl flooring, squared-off walls (a unique change from the van’s original rounded shape), and an illuminated header to highlight interchangeable product boards. This mobile unit allowed Banner to showcase multiple categories of their business and served as a traveling touchpoint for client engagement.

However, while innovative, the van had its drawbacks. Because it was not designed with heating or cooling systems, the environment often became uncomfortably hot for both Banner teams and visitors. As a result, it limited dwell time and undermined the premium experience the brand wanted to deliver.

Additionally, the interior felt more like a demonstration vehicle than a polished showroom. While functional, it lacked the hospitality and comfort Banner wanted for deeper client conversations. This challenge sparked the realization that a new approach was needed—one that not only displayed products effectively but also created an inviting, brand-aligned experience.

Goals & Objectives

  • Elevate client comfort – Ensure heating and cooling could be controlled year-round, creating a welcoming environment for longer client interactions.
  • Reinforce brand identity – Incorporate high-end finishes, lighting, and design elements that aligned with Banner’s premium positioning.
  • Maintain flexibility – Continue to use interchangeable product boards so teams could adapt the showroom to different audiences and conversations.
  • Add meeting functionality – Include seating, storage, and hospitality-driven features so the vehicle could serve as both a showcase and a client meeting space.
  • Enable true mobility – Build a solution capable of traveling cross-country through all seasons, including snow and winter conditions, while offering a smooth, reliable ride.

Our Solution

To meet these objectives, NPARALLEL + Atomic Props worked with Banner to convert a motorhome RV into a drivable mobile showroom. By stripping the vehicle down to its shell, we created a blank canvas for a reimagined experience.

The design and fabrication included:

  • Hospitality-driven interiors – A seating area, fireplace feature, and professional meeting space created an environment where clients could feel at ease while engaging with Banner’s technology.
  • Climate control – Full HVAC systems for both heating and cooling were installed, solving the temperature issues from the van and ensuring year-round usability.
  • Premium materials – High-end vinyl flooring, sleek finishes, and integrated lighting elevated the overall design and reinforced Banner’s brand identity.
  • Functional flexibility – Interchangeable product boards showcased Banner’s broad portfolio, while large overhead storage areas and a built-in fire escape ensured both practicality and safety.
  • Outdoor engagement – A canopy system allowed Banner to extend the showroom experience outside, giving them multiple ways to engage clients on-site.

The RV’s smooth ride eliminated the “bobbing” issues of smaller vehicles, creating a more stable experience for both Banner staff and clients. It was designed not only as a moving billboard but as a true traveling environment where business could happen anywhere.

Results

Launched in 2024, the Banner Engineering mobile showroom has proven to be a powerful engagement tool. Unlike the van, which had environmental limitations, the RV has been able to travel nationwide year-round—even through harsh winters—without compromising comfort or usability.

The mobile showroom has quickly become a client draw, standing out as more than just a branded vehicle. It’s a space where customers can step inside, experience Banner’s innovations firsthand, and have meaningful conversations with the Banner team. This balance of hospitality and technology has allowed Banner to foster deeper connections with their audience.

The RV also extends Banner’s reach far beyond trade show floors. Instead of waiting for customers to come to them, Banner now brings the experience directly to clients’ locations—factories, offices, or remote sites—removing barriers and creating a high-touch, personal experience.

Since its launch, Banner has reported strong success and consistent interest in the showroom. It continues to serve as a versatile, durable, and brand-forward solution that not only communicates product value but also reinforces Banner’s reputation as an innovative leader in automation and sensor technology.
