CASE STUDY
Hearth and Home
Multipurpose Trade Show Exhibit Design

Executive Summary
At the International Builders’ Show (IBS), Hearth & Home Technologies—parent brand of Heat & Glo—set out to do more than showcase fireplaces. They turned their exhibit into a true brand environment: hosting internal sales trainings, creating curated content, and engaging partners and attendees in hands-on education. The result? A booth that didn’t just look good—it worked hard before, during, and after the show.
Business Challenge
The client needed a booth that would serve multiple functions without compromising design. It had to house working product displays, offer space for private events, and provide an environment conducive to both high-quality content creation and live educational sessions—all in the midst of a busy trade show.
Goals & Objectives
- Maximize investment: Design a booth that adds value beyond just foot traffic.
- Facilitate internal use: Create space for pre-show sales trainings and team meetings.
- Support partner engagement: Provide areas for private partner events and client education.
- Enable content creation: Build settings suitable for capturing new product content and prototypes on-site.
- Showcase innovation: Highlight new and core products in an immersive, lifestyle-driven environment.
Our Solution
We designed a clean, efficient, and functional booth that offered a blend of open display areas and more intimate meeting zones. Fireplaces were built into lifestyle vignettes, giving both a realistic context and a visually compelling content backdrop.
The layout allowed Hearth & Home to kick off the show with internal sales trainings inside the booth, followed by daily hosted sessions with partners and customers. Integrated lighting and finishes ensured everything looked polished—on camera and in person.

Results
The booth became a hub of activity well before doors opened and long after show hours ended. From live workshops and private meetings to new product photoshoots, the exhibit was fully leveraged across departments. It served as an educational space, content studio, and sales tool—maximizing ROI while showcasing the brand’s commitment to innovation.
